West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust is one of the top performing ambulance services in the country. We serve the west midlands area of more than 5,000 square miles made up of Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Coventry, Birmingham and Black Country conurbation. We respond to around 4,000 '999' and 5,000 111 calls each day. We employ approximately 5,000 staff and operate from 16 new fleet preparation hubs across the region. We provide high quality apprenticeships from vehicle mechanics to non-emergency patient transport services.
