Provider overview

London North Eastern Railway Limited (LNER) is the rail company that operates passenger transport on the East Coast mainline. We became an apprenticeship provider in April 2020 and are recognised by Ofsted as good (as of July 2022). Each year LNER trains approximately 80 apprentices at the Talent Academy based at York Station and our training facilities along our route from Edinburgh to London King’s Cross. LNER covers the Transport and logistics sector and we specialise in Train Driver and Passenger Transport Operative apprenticeships.
