Training provider overview
The Dental Institute is based on both the Guy's and St Thomas campuses. Both sites offer modern facilities for the care of patients, teaching and research. From May 2017, The Dental Nursing Academy at Guy’s and St Thomas’ started to offer an apprenticeship. We currently take a cohort of approximately 10 learners, every other year, for the 18 month apprenticeship. Our apprenticeship provides practical and class-based teaching with an excellent stepping stone to future careers. Along with our high achievement rate, our 2023 Ofsted Inspection report gave us an overall effectiveness grading of good, with behaviours and attitudes receiving outstanding.
