About this provider
The Thames Marine Academy was established in 2018 by Mr John Spencer (MD GPS Marine Ltd) and Captain Edmund Hadnett (Master Mariner & former Senior Marine Pilot) with the express intent to provide an apprenticeship scheme to assist young people seeking to gain the Boatmaster Licence.
Using the wealth of resources available in its immediate area of the River Thames the Academy is able to offer a high quality apprenticeship scheme in support of your company.
The team of instructors are professionals from the marine industry who bring their wealth of experience to add "pearls of wisdom" to enhance the practical application of what is taught in the classroom.
We are delighted to offer workplace-based assessment at your location by arrangement.
