About this provider

Crispin School has a well establish School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider (SCITT), called the Mid Somerset Consortium, which has delivered high quality secondary teacher training since 2013. We work in partnership with the majority of state secondary schools in Somerset and North Dorset and also independent schools in the area. We train between 30 and 50 trainees each year in a variety of subjects. Each year we have successfully trained teachers on salaried routes and intend to offer apprenticeships which follow the same weekly 'day release' model with trainees receiving most of their training in their home schools
