About this provider

We run, maintain and develop Britain's rail tracks, signalling, bridges, tunnels, level crossings and many key stations. Our vision is a better railway for a better Britain. This means delivering a railway that is safer, more reliable and more efficient than ever before. Britain's railway brings people and businesses closer together, which creates new jobs, opens up new markets and stimulates economic growth.

Over 3,000 people joined our organisation last year - see our careers pages on

We offer an array of apprenticeship programmes for new entrant and existing employees, and deliver training in our world-class training centres across Britain. We currently focus on Level 3 provision for Rail Engineering Technicians, and have done so since 2005, but have ambitions to expand our offering across other apprenticeship programmes.
