Established in 2001, ABDO College is based in Godmersham, Kent and specialises in distance and blended learning education for the optical profession. It is the only college in the UK devoted solely to the teaching of the theory and practical aspects of ophthalmic dispensing and its related specialist areas. Blended learning is led by eminent and appropriately qualified lecturers and tutors. Students are welcome from across the country due to the flexible modes of delivery offered by the College, giving a balance between online learning, practice based development and face-to-face teaching on within block release sessions.
