Provider overview

Ripley SCITT is a well- established provider of ITT based in Lancaster. Ripley ITT provides the teacher apprenticeship so that the levy funding can be utilised to develop existing staff or recruit new members of staff. We offer the teacher apprenticeship across both primary and secondary phases.

Typically, the programme will run from June to June, with QTS awarded in late June 2023. The apprentice will learn and develop in their employing school where they will be supported by a suitable mentor. The apprentice must be released for ‘off the job’ training each Friday.

Our innovative curriculum is designed and delivered by ITT experts so that each apprentice is provided with the researched-based pedagogy needed to be an effective teacher
