Provider overview

Solace is the membership body for local government managers. An approved apprenticeship provider since 2017 for an approx. annual intake of 220 apprentices, we are rated “Good” by Ofsted. We work with Local Authorities and partners in the private and not–for–profit sectors. Solace delivers 2 in-house and 1 national Level 5 Coaching Professional cohorts, incorporating the ILM Level 5 Diploma in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. Our Emerging Leaders cohorts run regionally across England, comprising of a dual qualification – the Level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager and the ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma. Our apprenticeships are tailored to a local government context, supporting the needs of the client and individual.
