Provider overview

South Thames Colleges Group (STCG) is a large general further education college, formed in August 2017 by the merger of Carshalton, Kingston and South Thames colleges. The college has sites in the boroughs of Kingston, Merton, Sutton and Wandsworth, all with excellent commuter links across London and Surrey. Apprentices are taught by teachers who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and teach in an interesting and engaging way. STCG work with employers to ensure they understand the requirements of the programmes and contribute to the development of apprentices& training. As a result, most apprentices remain in employment on completion of their programme. In February 2020 STCG was awarded a grade 2 (Good) by Ofsted.
