OTT SCITT (part of River Learning Trust) is a designated “Outstanding” ITT provider (Ofsted May 2023) working across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire. We have trained circa 1,000 teachers, offering a range of ITT programmes in Primary, Secondary and Special education.
We deliver a Postgraduate Teacher apprenticeship which will lead to the award of QTS. Apprentices are paid as Unqualified Teachers, with additional grant funding available (shortage subjects). Employers paying the apprenticeship levy can use this to pay for the course.
Apprentices are employed by our partnership schools. Each apprentice benefits from weekly online and face-to-face training sessions supported by our team of school-based, subject experts and SCITT colleagues.
