Salford and Trafford Engineering Group Training Association Ltd (STEGTA) was established in 1966 to act as the central training department for companies in the Salford,Trafford area. Since 1966, STEGTA has grown substantially and now attends to the apprenticeship training needs of Employers throughout England. Local Employers form the backbone of STEGTA's Board of Governors and play a pivotal role in the decision making process within the organisation. STEGTA also offers a complimentary apprentice recruitment service, which helps employers to source the most suitable candidates for their specific apprenticeship role.
