SIGTA was established in the mid 1960's and operates as a not for profit Group Training Association (GTA) with charitable status. SIGTA has a wealth of experience working with SME's and large employers to accurately identify, plan, deliver and evaluate apprentice training to meet business needs. SIGTA specialises in the delivery of engineering, manufacturing, business administration and warehousing apprenticeships.

In addition to apprentice programmes, SIGTA offers a wide range of specific training covering the areas of management, health and safety, information technology, technical development, lift truck operator training and first aid.
