Industry recognised level 4 Construction Technician Standard, Technician status or equivalent

What apprentices will learn
  • about the environmental impact of construction activities
  • how to review threats and opportunities for the construction industry
  • about the project management cycle including planning, budgeting, project funding and payment processes
  • about the construction process, materials and technology and best practice
  • the obligations for health, safety and wlefare on site
  • about procurement processes
Qualifications
  • apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment (grades 9 to 4 or A* to C)
  • industry recognised BSc (Hons) in construction management or equivalent construction level 6 Dipolma
  • industry certificates in Site Safety Plus, Site Managers' Saftey Training Scheme and Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme
