Your chosen training provider can advise you about the kinds of skills apprentices will learn.

Apprentices will achieve a practical (or 'competence') qualification:

  • NVQ Diploma in Upholstery
  • NVQ Diploma in Upholstery and Soft Furnishings

Apprentices will also achieve a theory-based (or 'knowledge') qualification:

  • Diploma in Furnishings - Mattress Making
  • Diploma in Furnishings - Modern Upholstery
  • Diploma in Furnishings - Traditional Upholstery
  • Diploma in Furniture Design and Making
